1.Rad greetings from Perú, Hello, Soren! How are you mate? hows going the things in Ror-Shak Clothing?
Things are good, its brand new, but it seems to be gaining some traction. It’s such a new style of artwork, so people either seem to really dig it or they don't understand it at all.
2.From the beginning, how you start this killer project called Ror-Shak Clothing? And what influenced or motivated you?
I’ve always been really intrigued by Hermann Rorschach’s psychological experiments using inkblot images; how different people may perceive the same image slightly differently, based on psyche. I felt like I could really expand on this idea by bringing a more graphic and recognizable look to the classic image pattern. I started screen-printing posters with inkblot style imagery and quickly realized that the designs I was creating would make killer T-shirt art. From there I formed a logo which encompasses my idea and began what is now Ror-Shak Clothing Co.
3.Do you have any merch available?
Yeah, I have a good size T-shirt inventory in all my designs; I also sell poster art of the images as well. I’m currently in the process of working on creating some dope stickers.
Ah man I wish I was, but I tried it when I was a kid and never quite got the hang of it, although I think it's a totally rad sport. I am mostly into extreme mountain unicycling and rock climbing.
5.You know any rad artists from South America?
No, unfortunately I do not, but I always look forward to talking to people who are as passionate about their artwork as I am.
6.How and where can maniacs get your stuff from Ror-Shak Clothing?
Well the best way is just to DM me on Instagram (soren_tucker_art) or email me at sorentucker@comcast.net. Aside from that I have a facebook page (Ror-Shak Clothing Co.) which has all of my shirt designs and some of my poster artwork.
Nothing too chaotic, I plan to keep moving ahead with my clothing brand and artwork, and to always keep improving.
8.Last words mate and thanks for your time in this interview.
Well I guess I’ll end with a quote from the man who inspired it all “Reality is created by harmonics, which physically manifest as mirror reflections of the soul” -Hermann, Rorschach. My images are little reflections of my soul and my hope is that other people enjoy them as much as I do, but each as individually as the last.
