Interview - Roman Astleitner/Muckefuck Skateboards & Urethane

1.Fast and furious greetings from Peru, Roman! How’s going the things there?
All good here - after a busy summer building a lot of concrete parks it‘s getting more relaxed during the winter time now!

2.Give us a trip by the existence of Muckefuck Skateboards & Urethane. How been the beginnings?
Muckefuck skateboards were established in 2005. Since that time we have done many d.i.y projects and international skateboard events. 

3.Muckefuck Skateboards & Urethane have a team/crew actually?
Over the years the team has grown continuously and consist of more than 50 riders from all over the globe now!
For the skateboard team the idea was and still is to support the local scene... Muckefuck urethane has an international focus. With our wheels we are able to support riders from all over the globe.

4.Roman explain some more about DIY scene of your city. Have actually DIY spots there?
Sure - after the cradle park in Brixlegg / Tyrol was built by Dreamland Skateparks in 2001 (world's first-ever built Cradle) everything took off.
Winter is always an issue and I knew that we need some indoor spot to overcome the cold months. So we started to build a spine miniramp in an old train warehouse. Over the years it grew from the mini into a really sick Miniramp bowl combination, an old train with a bar and some curb combos for the kids. It’s still the only indoor spot in our area within 1 hours car drive. In 2005 we started our first concrete project in our town - “Wörgl d.i.y”. This park got a new piece of concrete nearly every year from when it started. We have finished the park last year after 13 years of building! The skatepark in
Wörgl became the biggest d.i.y structure in Europe.   

5.Muckefuck Skateboards & Urethane how many pro-models have till moment?
A shit load! Haha.

6.You do DIY spots right? How many DIY Spots you doing till moment?
We have been building d.i.y spots over a decade now! No idea how many we have done but it's been a lot for sure! 

7.Roman you know the DIY skateboarding scene of South America?
Not really....

8.How and where the homies can get stuff of Muckefuck Skateboards & Urethane?
